Unfinished at Mozart's death, The Requiem was completed by his assistant, Franz Xaver Süssmayr, drawing references from the sketches left by Mozart. January 2006 marks the 250th birthday of the greatest musical genius ever. To celebrate this memorable occasion, Opera Hong Kong will collaborate with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta to perform Mozart's final work and arias from some of his most beloved operas.
